Getting married in Krakow from abroad: what to know about your wedding photos

More and more couples choose Krakow for their wedding while living somewhere else. Sometimes it's a return to their roots, sometimes simply a love of the city. Wedding photography in that situation works a little differently than for a local wedding, because you're planning everything from a distance, often without knowing the area well.

When you're planning from far away, that early contact takes a lot of the uncertainty off your shoulders.

Krakow is a backdrop of its own

For a couple from abroad, Krakow itself is part of the story. The Old Town, Wawel, the narrow streets, the Planty, the Vistula, the townhouses. The practical side: language, time and getting around

I speak English comfortably, so if you or some of your guests feel more at ease in English, that's no problem. We'll also set a realistic timeline that accounts for getting around, because traffic and parking in the centre of Krakow can catch out-of-towners by surprise.

If you're planning a particular spot for the portraits, I'll check in advance whether it needs a permit or a booking. Those are things better known beforehand than on the wedding day. My job is to take that part of the worry off you, so you can simply enjoy the day.
