MY STORY
How it all started
Back in 2013 I wasn't into photography. Genuinely. But I was planning a trip to Italy and figured it would be a shame not to have decent photos of such a beautiful place. I bought a cheap camera, went, and came home with hundreds of shots I actually loved.
From that moment the camera came with me everywhere. I fell in love with street photography, walking the city and catching real moments. When I moved to China I went all in. Thousands of photos, hours on the streets, and one discovery that changed how I see everything: what fascinates me most is capturing emotion on a person's face in an unrepeatable moment.
Street photography led naturally to portraits. I built my own studio, started learning lighting and controlled environments. In the US I photographed NBA players and social activists. In 2018 I came back to Krakow and decided it was time to do this properly.
MY APROACH
What actually happens during a session with me.
I used to teach languages for years. It taught me one important thing: every person needs a different pace and a different kind of space to feel comfortable. I bring exactly that to every session.
Before I press the shutter, I make sure you know what to expect. I explain what we're doing and why. I don't rush. The atmosphere matters to me as much as the photo itself.
I once photographed a friend who had been through a very difficult childhood. We sat together, I asked him to tell me about it and photographed him while he talked. Those photos are among my favourites I have ever taken. Not because they are technically perfect. Because they are real.
That is what I aim for in every session, whether it is a business portrait, a wedding or a session just for you.
WHERE I'M FROM
Mexico, China, Krakow.
I was born and raised in Mexico. At 18 I moved to the US, and at 22 I ended up in Poland. I also lived in China for a while, went back to the US and Mexico, but Krakow has been home for years now. I simply love it here.
That journey across three continents and several languages gave me something no photography school could: the ability to read people. Everyone I photograph has a story. My job is to show it.
BEYOND THE LENS
The person behind the camera.
I am the proud owner of Coco, an energetic dog who joins me on walks around Krakow and reliably pulls me away from the computer screen.
I love playing football, and my free evenings are best spent with good music and a glass of red wine.
I think the small things matter. They keep you grounded and remind you why it is worth taking good photos in the first place.
